Stephanie Groves

Stephanie Groves is GMT’s CNC programmer and operator. Steph uses the CNC machines to cut and shape precision products, such as tools, machine parts and equipment components. CNC machines include machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, and electrical discharge machines (EDM), the functions formerly performed by qualified tradespersons are now performed by a computer-control module, giving superior accuracy and consistency.

Stephanie uses CAD/CAM software to transform ideas, object samples and sketches into finished 2d/3d components in almost any material. This brochure features many of the finished products produced by her techniques.

Steph’s knowledge of the working properties of metals coupled with her skill with CNC programming promotes effective design and managements of the operations needed to make machined products that meet precise specifications. She has been part of GMT for 7yrs.

Paula Groves

Paula Groves commenced with GMT in 2010 as the office administrator to plan, coordinate and also oversee various business functions which are performed by the other employees of the company. Paula has 20 years experience in similarly diverse roles within the manufacturing and mining industries and also has a depth of knowledge in both Quality and OHS system implementations and maintenance. Paula’s responsibilities include procurement and ordering supplies, performing payroll duties, accounting payable and receivable duties, taking phone calls and performing general everyday tasks necessary for the efficient running of the business.

Paula is here to listen attentively to clients, assist with queries and also to complete resolutions to any issue.  One of her most important traits is her determined problem solving skill and her ability to secure the required information from many various sources.

Paula is GMT’s first point of contact and therefore a very valuable asset.
